Your voice makes a difference
The Friends of Appleton Public Library always needs advocates like YOU. Throughout the year, we ask library supporters to contact their elected officials to voice their support for the library.
In simple terms, a library advocate is someone who understands the value and importance of public library service and who communicates that value and importance to the community, government leaders, and other decision-makers. Your primary function as a library advocate will be to provide clear, accurate, and timely information on library issues to people who need it in order to make sound decisions on those issues.
